The EBA pathway

Level 1 of 4: where every player starts

No experience needed and one free tryout. When a player is ready for more, our coaches invite them up to EBA Selection — nobody applies into the upper levels.

EBA Foundational is where children aged 4 to 15 learn the game properly — coached in small groups by age and level, with no experience needed. Come and try one session free before you decide anything.

Times are indicative. Children are placed in a group by age and skill level, and the coaches confirm the exact slot with you.

Add competition, if they want it

Play for the club. Children who are ready can take part in competition during the season. Entirely optional — plenty of our players simply train.

One free tryout

Your child trains with the group once, free of charge, before you commit to anything. Tell us a day that suits and we will confirm the group.

Grouped by age and level

The Minis, typically 4 to 6, train for a shorter session. From about 7 it is two hours. Coaches move children up when they are ready.

Help with the cost

We work with Leergeld Eindhoven and Kies je Sport & Kunst, so cost need not be the reason a child misses out. Ask us.

Can my child try first?
Yes — one tryout session, free of charge. Use the tryout button above with your child’s age and a day that suits, and we will propose a group and a date.
My child is very young — is two hours too long?
The Minis group, typically 4 to 6 years old, trains for a shorter period. From roughly age 7, sessions are two hours. Children are grouped by age and skill, and coaches move them up when they are ready.
What exactly gets charged, and when?
A one-time €12 registration charge, then your contribution by SEPA direct debit. Monthly members pay the full month whatever date they join. Competition participation, if taken up, is €130 for the season. Invoices appear in the Badminton Nederland app.
Does my child need a jersey?
Yes, for training and when representing EBA. Jerseys are ordered in bulk rounds announced by email and charged to your next invoice.
What if my child turns out to be really good?
Then the coaches will tell you. EBA Foundational is the entry level; talented players are invited into EBA Selection and, from there, RTC-EBA. You do not need to apply — selection comes from the coaching team.
Is the family discount available?
Yes — EBA Foundational qualifies, but only if every household member counted is in Recreational Adults, Recreational University Students or EBA Foundational. If anyone in the household is in EBA Selection, RTC-EBA or EBA Elite, no one in that household qualifies. The 20% comes off the lower-priced membership.
