Eindhoven Badminton Academy ™
The EBA pathway
Four levels, one pathway
Every child starts at EBA Foundational. Coaches move players up when they are ready — you are selected into the higher levels, never by paying more. Every level trains at the same halls with the same coaching team.

The only badminton academy in the Eindhoven region certified by Badminton Nederland.
A 1-star certified badminton school, 150+ young players, and a pathway that runs from a child’s first shuttle to the national junior programme — coached by an Olympian and an ex-Eredivisie player. Our aim is simple: produce talent that can one day represent the Netherlands.
- 1-star certified by Badminton Nederland
- 150+ youth players
- Ex-Olympian head coach
- Regional Training Centre (RTC) status
- Open to players from other clubs
What makes EBA different
Three things, and none of them are marketing lines.
Certified, and the only one
EBA is an official badminton school licensed by Badminton Nederland and certified 1-star — currently the only certified academy in the Eindhoven region.
You keep your club
Talented players from other clubs and badminton schools train here. You can train at EBA and still represent your own club in competition. You do not have to choose.
Coaches who talk to parents
Children get personal attention so their development actually accelerates, and our coaches stay in dialogue with parents about what they are seeing on court.
The pathway
Four levels, one route. Children enter at the bottom and move up when the coaching staff judge they are ready — you do not apply into the upper tiers, you are selected into them. Every level trains at the same venues with the same coaching team; what changes is intensity and expectation.

Who coaches your child
Eli Mambwe
Olympian — Beijing 2008. Head coach for the recreational youth groups and EBA Selection, and the coach most families meet first.
Rick Steuten
Former Eredivisie player, now head coach of the RTC-EBA programme and the players training at the top of the academy.
More than training
We take the badminton seriously and the childhood seriously too. Through the season the academy runs the Junior Master Eindhoven Badminton Academy tournament, internal academy tournaments, and a Sinterklaas and Christmas celebration.
Junior Master EBA
Our own youth tournament, and the one our players circle in the calendar.
Internal tournaments
Regular in-house competition, so every child gets match experience without travelling.
Sinterklaas & Christmas
The academy is a community as well as a programme, and we celebrate like one.
Competing for a club
EBA is the academy; Rudra United is the competitive wing. Players who want to enter leagues and tournaments do so under Rudra United, while players who already belong to another club can keep representing that club and simply train here. Either way, the coaching is the same.
