Organizational Mission<\/h1>\n

Rudra United & Eindhoven Badminton Academie (hierna \"Rudra\" of \"EBA\" genoemd)<\/span> heeft een duidelijke 3-voudige missie:<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Netwerken, gezelligheid en een gezonde levensstijl bevorderen door samen te sporten.<\/li>\n
  2. Wees een van de meest inclusief,<\/strong> internationaal, economisch<\/strong> en flexibel<\/strong> Badmintonverenigingen in de regio Nederland.<\/li>\n
  3. Talent opleiden vanaf jonge leeftijd en kansen cre\u00ebren voor de jeugd om in de toekomst mogelijk professionele sporters te worden.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Algemeen<\/h1>\n

    Deze pagina beschrijft de algemene voorwaarden van de lidmaatschapsplannen die door Rudra worden aangeboden. De lidmaatschapsplannen gelden voor deelnemers die zich inschrijven voor het spelen van badminton, zoals georganiseerd en gehost door Rudra United & Eindhoven Badminton Academy (KvK nummer: 80223982).<\/span><\/p>\n

     <\/span><\/p>\n

    Definitions<\/h1>\n
      \n
    1. Seizoen<\/strong>: De periode van september tot augustus van elk jaar.<\/li>\n
    2. Lidmaatschap<\/strong>: Een overeenkomst tussen een speler en de Rudra, waardoor de speler deel mag uitmaken van de Rudra-organisatie.<\/li>\n
    3. Recreatieve volwassenen of universiteitsstudenten<\/strong>: Niet-competitieve volwassenen die geregistreerd zijn onder de Recreatieve Volwassenen afdeling van de Rudra organisatie.<\/li>\n
    4. Concurrerende volwassenen of universiteitsstudenten<\/span>: De senior competitieve vleugel van de Rudra organisatie.<\/li>\n
    5. Eindhoven Badminton Academy (EBA)<\/strong>: Een officieel gecertificeerde badmintonacademie voor de ontwikkeling van jeugdtalent. Het is ook een offici\u00eble handelsnaam van onze organisatie.<\/li>\n
    6. Recreatieve Jeugd<\/strong>: Alle jeugdleden ingeschreven bij de Eindhoven Badminton Academy die (nog) geen deel uitmaken van het Elite Youth Talent Development Program.<\/li>\n
    7. EBA Selection<\/strong>: Youth players selected by the EBA coaching team to participate in the intensive Youth Talent Development Program at EBA.<\/li>\n
    8. RTC-EBA & EBA Elite<\/strong>: Youth players selected by the EBA & Badminton Nederland coaching team to training under Regional Training Center at EBA.<\/li>\n
    9. Household \/ Family<\/strong>: Two or more members \u2014 in any combination of Recreational Adults, Recreational University Students, and EBA Foundational Youth \u2014 residing at the same address and registered concurrently with Rudra.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
       <\/span> <\/span><\/div>\n
      Memberships Types<\/span><\/div>\n

      Rudra currently offers 2 types of membership for all her members.<\/p>\n

        \n
      1. Maandelijks lidmaatschap<\/strong>: Maandelijks lidmaatschap geeft flexibiliteit om maandelijks bij te dragen. Maandelijkse leden zijn ook vrij om hun lidmaatschap op elk moment tijdens een lopend seizoen te be\u00ebindigen.<\/li>\n
      2. Jaarlijks lidmaatschap<\/strong>: Annual membership offers a more economical option for players which spans for the entire season (typically from September \u2013 August). An Annual membership is also a commitment for the entire season, and it is not possible to terminate one’s membership during an ongoing season. Annual members may use the Membership Pause facility described below; see that section for how a pause affects an Annual membership’s term.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Rudra United Senior Spelers<\/strong> die deelnemen aan de competitie (Bondscompetitie) moeten jaarlid zijn van de club. Hun contributie wordt aan het begin van het seizoen (meestal in september) in \u00e9\u00e9n keer ge\u00efnd.<\/p>\n

        EBA Selection<\/strong> participants are also required to be Annual members of the club. Their contributions will be collected either on a Monthly or an Annual basis, at the start of the season (typically in September).<\/p>\n

         <\/h2>\n

        General Conditions for all Members<\/h1>\n

        Sportuitrusting<\/strong>:
        The club will provide the following:<\/p>\n

          \n
        • Nylon Badminton Shuttles (Yonex Mavis 300 or equivalent) for Recreational Adults, Recreational University Students, and EBA Foundational Youth.<\/li>\n
        • Feather shuttles for facilitating trainings of Competitive players, EBA Elite Talent Groups, RTC players, and Recreational Adults\/University Students who have opted into the Training add-on.<\/li>\n
        • Members\/players are expected to bring their own personal equipment, such as rackets, shoes, etc. At present, there is no provision for borrowing any equipment from the club\/academy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Locatie\/Faciliteit<\/strong>:
          Rudra-organized badminton events require renting indoor facilities (e.g., sports halls). These facilities are typically reserved for an entire season, spanning 12 months, based on the number of expected members. This ensures optimal facility usage and mitigates potential financial losses. There may be instances where venues are unavailable due to reasons beyond Rudra’s control (e.g., scheduled maintenance, public holidays, etc.). In such cases, efforts will be made to arrange an alternative venue in reasonable proximity to the regular location, though this cannot be guaranteed. Members will be notified of any changes at least one week before the event. If the event time needs to be adjusted, we will strive to keep it as close as possible to the regular timeslot.<\/p>\n

          Contributie-inning en facturen<\/strong>:
          By submitting the membership form, participants consent to having their membership contributions collected via automatic debit. Membership is valid only upon acceptance by Rudra. Contributions will be collected within the first two weeks of each calendar month. Itemized invoices are accessible to all registered members via the Badminton Nederland app.<\/p>\n

          Bijdrageberekening voor nieuwe leden<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

            \n
          • Maandelijks lidmaatschap<\/strong>: Voor nieuwe leden die tussen de 1e en de laatste dag van de maand lid worden van Rudra, wordt de volledige maandelijkse contributie voor die maand in rekening gebracht. Er wordt geen pro-rata korting toegepast, ongeacht wanneer het lidmaatschap is ingediend en goedgekeurd.<\/li>\n
          • Jaarlijks lidmaatschap<\/strong>: Annual contributions will be calculated on a pro-rata basis depending on when the membership is accepted during the season (September \u2013 August). The following percentages will apply, and the contribution will be collected in a single installment:\n
              \n
            • September \u2013 November: 100% of the annual contribution.<\/li>\n
            • December \u2013 February: 75% of the annual contribution.<\/li>\n
            • March \u2013 May: 50% of the annual contribution.<\/li>\n
            • June \u2013 August: 25% of the annual contribution.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              In het geval dat een sportfaciliteit niet beschikbaar is op een geplande dag (bijvoorbeeld vanwege feestdagen), wordt de bijdrage voor die maand niet aangepast.<\/p>\n

               <\/h2>\n

              Adults Membership Conditions<\/h2>\n
                \n
              1. Lidmaatschap Plan Keuzes<\/strong>: Members select their preferred weekday(s) and the frequency (number of times per week) they wish to play. The monthly or annual contribution is determined based on this selection.<\/li>\n
              2. Training Add-on<\/strong>: Members may add coached Training sessions on top of their Recreation membership, at the rates published on the current Contributions page. The Training add-on is optional and billed separately from the base Recreation membership; it is not a substitute for it.<\/li>\n
              3. Ad hoc Dagen<\/strong>: Members can sign up for additional “Ad hoc” days to play on a day outside their regular schedule. An extra fee applies for these days at the member rate.<\/li>\n
              4. Betaling en terugbetalingen<\/strong>: Monthly contributions are collected via automatic debit. No adjustments, transfers, or refunds are allowed if a member misses a scheduled day they are registered for, other than via the Membership Pause facility described below.<\/li>\n
              5. Wisseldagen<\/strong>: Switching to a different playing day within the same month is not allowed. Example: If a member is registered to play on Tuesdays and misses it, they cannot switch to Saturday that week. They can, however, sign up for an ‘Ad hoc’ day.<\/li>\n
              6. Gastenbeleid<\/strong>: Registered adult players cannot invite family members or friends without informing Rudra Club Administrators in advance. This is distinct from the Household\/Family Discount below, which applies only to family members formally registered as Rudra members in their own right, not to occasional guests.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                 <\/h2>\n

                EBA Youth Membership Conditions<\/h2>\n
                  \n
                1. Training Schedule and Contributions<\/strong>: Participants applying for EBA membership must select their preferred weekday(s) and the number of training sessions per week. Their Monthly or Annual contribution will be determined accordingly.<\/li>\n
                2. Non-Attendance Policy<\/strong>: If a member is unable to attend a scheduled session, the membership costs will not be adjusted, credited, or reimbursed under any circumstances, other than via the Membership Pause facility described below.<\/li>\n
                3. Restrictions on Schedule Changes<\/strong>: While updating the membership plan for future periods is allowed, switching training days within a week or month is not permitted. For instance, if a member has chosen to train once a week on Saturdays but cannot attend a particular Saturday, they cannot shift that session to another day, such as Wednesday.<\/li>\n
                4. Parent\/Guardian Responsibilities<\/strong>:\n
                    \n
                  • Ouders\/verzorgers moeten ervoor zorgen dat hun kinderen niet opzettelijk of onopzettelijk gelijktijdige recreatieve evenementen verstoren.<\/li>\n
                  • Ouders mogen niet meespelen tijdens de jeugdtrainingssessies, omdat dit zowel de kinderen als de trainers afleidt.<\/li>\n
                  • Tijdens trainingen wordt van de ouders verwacht dat ze zwijgend toekijken en geen instructies geven, aanmoedigen of enige vorm van feedback geven, vocaal of niet- vocaal, aan hun kinderen. Dergelijke acties kunnen zowel de spelers als de coachingstaf van EBA afleiden.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
                  • Uniform Requirement<\/strong>: All players are required to wear EBA jerseys during training sessions and while representing EBA in tournaments and competitions. However, wearing jerseys of other associations or clubs is acceptable during events not hosted by EBA.<\/li>\n
                  • Contributions for Tournaments and Competitions<\/strong>:\n
                      \n
                    • EBA Foundational Youth Players must contribute towards participation in EBA events and tournaments based on their chosen Monthly or Annual membership preferences.<\/li>\n
                    • EBA Selections and EBA Foundational Youth Players must contribute annually for participation in competitions (Bondscompetitie), as per the agreed membership terms.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                       <\/h2>\n

                      Household \/ Family Discount<\/h2>\n

                      Households with more than one member registered concurrently \u2014 in any combination of Recreational Adults, Recreational University Students, and EBA Foundational Youth \u2014 receive a 20<\/b>% discount<\/strong> on each additional member’s recurring membership contribution (2nd member onward). The discount applies to Recreation and Training add-on fees; it does not apply to one-time charges (registration, administrative fee, BN ID) or to the Youth Competition participation fee.<\/p>\n

                      This discount does not<\/strong> apply to members registered in RTC-EBA, EBA Selections, or EBA Elite. It applies only to Recreational Adults, Recreational University Students, and EBA Foundational Youth, regardless of whether other household members are registered in the excluded categories above.<\/p>\n

                      To register a household for this discount, existing and new members should inform Rudra at info@sportnsocialize.com<\/strong>, naming all family members already playing or intending to join for the season. The discount will be applied from the point it is reported and processed into the current or next contribution collection cycle; it is not applied retroactively to contributions already collected before the household was reported.<\/p>\n

                       <\/h2>\n

                      Membership Pause \/ Freeze<\/h2>\n

                      Active members may request to pause their membership for up to 2 months per season. A EUR 15 processing fee applies per freeze request, and is non-refundable once the pause has been processed. Pause requests should be submitted to info@sportnsocialize.com<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

                      Membership resumes automatically at the end of the agreed freeze period. For Maandelijkse leden<\/strong>, no contribution is collected for the paused month(s). For Jaarlijkse leden<\/strong>, the membership’s end date is extended by the length of the pause, so that the full season’s worth of paid access is preserved; the paused period does not reduce the total contribution already collected.<\/p>\n

                      The Membership Pause facility is separate from, and not a substitute for, Termination as described below.<\/p>\n

                       <\/h2>\n

                      Badminton Nederland ID (BN ID) Requirement<\/h2>\n

                      From 1 January 2027<\/strong>, Badminton Nederland requires all Rudra members \u2014 recreational and competitive, across all categories \u2014 to hold a valid Badminton Nederland association ID (BN ID). This is a Badminton Nederland requirement, not a Rudra policy, and the associated fee is set by Badminton Nederland. The current BN ID fee is EUR 27 per calendar year (1 January \u2013 31 December)<\/strong>, charged as a one-time annual charge; members will be notified separately ahead of the January 2027 collection cycle.<\/p>\n

                      Active Competitive players are not required to pay this charge, as they are already registered with a BN ID under existing club requirements. The charge applies only to members who are part of Rudra United but do not yet hold a Badminton Nederland ID in the month of January 2027.<\/p>\n

                      A member may be registered with Badminton Nederland through more than one club. Typically, only the first club to register a member with the association is responsible for that member’s association fee. Rudra will check existing BN ID registration status before applying this charge, so members already registered elsewhere will not be charged twice \u2014 no action is required from members on this point.<\/p>\n

                       <\/h2>\n

                      Change\/Termination to\/of Membership<\/h2>\n
                        \n
                      1. Changes to Membership<\/strong>: Any updates to the membership plan (e.g., adding more play days, changing designated play days, or opting for the Training add-on) must be communicated to info@sportnsocialize.com<\/strong> by the 20th calendar day of the preceding month. A change in membership preference incurs an additional administrative charge, as published on the current Contributions page.<\/li>\n
                      2. Updates to Personal Details<\/strong>: Members are required to promptly inform Rudra at info@sportnsocialize.com<\/strong> of any changes to personal details, such as bank account numbers or email addresses, to ensure uninterrupted membership services. A change in membership details (e.g. bank details) incurs an additional administrative charge, as published on the current Contributions page.<\/li>\n
                      3. Be\u00ebindiging<\/strong>:\n
                          \n
                        • Only Monthly members can terminate their membership during an ongoing season. Termination requests must be submitted using the Membership Termination Form by the 20th calendar day of the preceding month.<\/li>\n
                        • Annual members cannot terminate their membership mid-season, but may use the Membership Pause facility described above. Annual members must notify Rudra by June 1st of their intention to terminate the membership for the upcoming season.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                           <\/h2>\n

                          Refunds Policy<\/h2>\n

                          Restituties zijn niet beschikbaar voor spelers die zich hebben ingeschreven in de volgende categorie\u00ebn:<\/p>\n

                          • Recreatieve volwassenen<\/li>\n
                          • Recreatieve studenten<\/li>\n
                          • Competitieve volwassen spelers<\/li>\n
                          • Competitive University Student Players<\/li>\n
                          • EBA Foundational Youth<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                            This applies equally to the Membership Pause processing fee, which is non-refundable once a pause has been processed, and is not itself a refund of any prior contribution.<\/p>\n

                            Participants in EBA Selection may be eligible for a refund only in cases of injury that prevent participation in the program and all sporting activities for the remainder of the season. The injury must be reported to the EBA promptly.<\/p>\n

                            In dergelijke gevallen zal een 50% restitutie worden aangeboden voor de proportionele duur van niet-deelname. Restituties worden pas aan het einde van het seizoen verwerkt.<\/p>\n

                             <\/h2>\n

                            Gerelateerde verplichtingen<\/h2>\n

                            Door lid te worden van Rudra erkent u en gaat u akkoord met de volgende aansprakelijkheidsvoorwaarden:<\/p>\n

                              \n
                            1. Injuries and Accidents<\/strong>: Rudra is not liable for any injuries or accidents that may occur during training\/recreational sessions, matches, events, or any other activities organized by the club. Members participate in all activities at their own risk.<\/li>\n
                            2. Disputes Between Members<\/strong>: The club is not responsible for mediating or resolving any disagreements, conflicts, or disputes that may arise between members.<\/li>\n
                            3. Theft or Loss<\/strong>: Rudra is not liable for the theft, loss, or damage of personal belongings brought to club premises or events. Members are advised to take necessary precautions to safeguard their belongings.<\/li>\n
                            4. Other Incidents<\/strong>: The club accepts no responsibility for any other unfortunate incidents or damages that may occur during or as a result of club activities.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                              Beheer van de voorwaarden<\/h2>\n

                              Dit document \"Algemene voorwaarden\" kan periodiek worden bijgewerkt om wijzigingen met betrekking tot het lidmaatschap weer te geven.
